METAL VALLEY - HIGH TECH IN NON-FERRO SOLUTIONS

In Drunen (Netherlands, Province Noord-Brabant, and 100 km south of Amsterdam) you will find a cluster of non-ferro metal companies, who have joined under the name Metal Valley. Metal Valley is aiming to boost the innovation and developments in the high tech non-ferro production area and to develop a knowledge centre in the non-ferro field.

The three founding companies LDM, Sapa and Wärtsilä have a long history in the region and during last decennia they became global players in the high tech non-ferro solutions area. With 1,500 employees and hundreds of millions turnover, Metal Valley is an important authority in the region. Reason for close cooperation with local authorities like the Municipal Heusden, the Province Noord-Brabant and several education and training centres like ROC’s and Universities.
