On April 9, 2009 WÄRTSILÄ LAND & SEA ACADEMY in Waalwijk was officially opened.

Wärtsilä has several training centers worldwide. Waalwijk is location number 10. In this new training center both Wärtsilä employees from all over the world and customers will be trained. Number of expected trainess for 2009 is 800-1000.
