Opening new learning squares at comprehensive school De Overlaat Waalwijk

On Wednesday December 3^rd last Metal Valley was at De Overlaat-school at Waalwijk for a meeting with the different schools with whom we cooperate. Also this day the new learning squares of the school were festively opened.

The meeting was opened by Harry Hens, a carnivals’ comediant from the region. He amused the guests with a beautiful story concerning the school and the new learning squares. Mr. Otto Dooijes, director of the school, and Mr. Klaas Nauta, deputy director of the school, also made their speeches. Afterwards each of the 3 mayors (from Heusden, Waalwijk and Loon op Zand) were invited to receive the keys for the learning squares. Next the different learning squares were opened spectacularly. Metal Valley was of course represented during the opening and was very impressed with the many improvements which the school has made. Of course we were especially satisfied with the MEVI square, what has been developed special for the technique students. We thank the school for their hospitality and hope that our future employees are made enthusiastic to choose for technique at the school.
