In Drunen, Sapa has two aluminum extrusion presses: an 8” – 2.000 tons press and a 10”- 3.150 tons press. In addition to its presses, Sapa Drunen has a large fabrication department, which is mainly dedicated to the automotive industry and Sapa Pole products.The fabrication facilities include milling, drilling, cutting, punching and bending equipment.Furthermore. Sapa Drunen is operating large remelt facility, dedicated to producing the aluminum billets for its own location and for its sister plant Harderwijk.

The Company's strategy focuses on adding more value to the customer offer, by fully utilizing the capabilities not only of the fabrication departments, but also their network of sub-contractors (including other Sapa locations), the vertical anodizing line of the sister plant in Harderwijk and an increased involvement in design, re-design and innovation of products.

Sapa Pole Products is fully equipped and has the flexibility to produce aluminium lighting columns and flagpoles in practically all shapes and sizes. From a standard lighting column or flagpole twenty five meters high to a complete custom-made lighting column, with an excellent fit in public spaces.
